Erika Namnath Joins FTI Consulting, Brings Two Decades of E-Discovery Expertise to Consulting and Case Management Teams
Washington, D.C., July 11, 2024 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Erika Namnath as a Managing Director within the firm’s Technology segment to support digital insights and risk management offerings.
Ms. Namnath has nearly 20 years of experience in e-discovery and information governance. She is a skilled case and project manager, collaborator and driver of cross-functional goals and initiatives for a diverse range of matters. As an e-discovery expert, Ms. Namnath implements and manages systems to execute intricate queries on extensive and dynamic datasets and assesses the effectiveness of search strategies through a combination of linguistic and objective analyses. Additionally, she supports the creation of data management programs to enhance information reuse and minimize redundant efforts.
“Our clients come to us during their highest-stakes, critical junctures,” said Sophie Ross, Global Chief Executive Officer of FTI Technology. “Whether they have experienced a data breach, are dealing with a large litigation, struggling with cloud-based data or implementing a global information governance framework, they often need guidance to apply technology to quickly understand key facts and mitigate a wide range of digital risks. Our consultants, like Erika, have the experience necessary to adapt to any type of matter, efficiently manage projects and develop custom solutions to bring swift resolution to client challenges. Erika’s contributions will complement our growing case management services and support teams across disputes, investigations and governance engagements.”
Prior to joining FTI Technology, Ms. Namnath held consulting roles at numerous technology, discovery and information management providers, where she assisted clients with change management, records management for Microsoft 365, data remediation, enterprise e-discovery and information governance program development, litigation support, search and analytics.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms. Namnath said, “When clients call FTI Technology, they’re usually already juggling many moving parts and striving to make sense of their data. They don’t have time or resources to worry about technical data challenges or the nuances of establishing discovery workflows. Our teams are here to anticipate potential challenges, provide technical expertise and build preventative measures into each stage of an engagement, so that problems don’t arise later on. I’ll be working across teams to provide case management leadership, share my experience with Microsoft 365 to support e-discovery and information governance solutions, and help solve novel data challenges.”
