FTI Consulting Grows Corporate Legal Advisory Team with Addition of Digital Transformation Expert

Washington, D.C., Oct. 17, 2023 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that the firm’s Technology segment has appointed Mike Ferrara as a Managing Director to provide legal technology expertise to clients and expand its corporate legal advisory capabilities.

Mr. Ferrara, who is based in Miami, has nearly two decades of experience advising organizations and legal departments through diverse, effective digital transformation initiatives. He brings extensive domain expertise in legal technology and has led initiatives across information lifecycle management, knowledge management, information governance, privacy operations, risk management, innovation and strategic technology implementations for many of the world’s largest legal departments. Mr. Ferrara has led current state assessments, guided future state roadmaps and built technical solutions for clients including Fortune 100 corporate law departments, Am Law 200 law firms and federal and state governments.

Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Ferrara was part of a leadership team responsible for developing and growing a new legal technology and legal operations transformation practice within a Big Four consulting firm. He co-developed the practice’s first point of view on digital transformation for the legal function and supported adjacent offerings including information governance, document management, privacy and intelligent automation. He was also previously a senior leader in a high-end technology consulting practice dedicated to providing information governance solutions to Global 1000 corporations and Am Law 200 law firms.
