Nuix Acquires Ringtail Software
We’re pleased to share the news that our longtime partner, Nuix, has acquired Ringtail software.
The below FAQs are designed to answer some basic questions for Ringtail and FTI Technology clients. If you have any additional questions, please contact your account representation or email ftitechsales@fticonsulting.com.
Q: I have a current matter hosted in Ringtail. Will this change anything? Will I work with the same people?
A: There will be no changes or disruption for any hosted Ringtail matters, including the team working on your matter.
Q: I have Ringtail on-premise or SaaS software. How will this news impact me?
A: For Ringtail on-premise and SaaS customers, Nuix will take over the Ringtail product development and support. Nuix will communicate with you soon on their plans and processes for support and updates.
Q: What are Nuix’s plans for Ringtail?
A: Nuix is committed to ongoing development of the Ringtail platform, and this will undoubtedly yield exciting new product innovations and enhancements for Ringtail users.
Q: Will FTI Technology continue to provide Ringtail software?
A: Yes. FTI has entered into an agreement as a preferred provider of Ringtail that ensures that our clients who rely on Ringtail software will continue to receive the same great level of service and delivery from FTI.
Q: What about the Ringtail Advantage Conference in September or the Canadian Ringtail User Group meeting in October? Are these events still happening?
A: Yes, both events will continue as planned. We hope you’re able to attend these events and learn more in person about Nuix’s exciting plans for Ringtail.
Q: Does this deal mean FTI may stop any of their current services or offerings?
A: There will be no changes to FTI’s consulting and services offerings. We’ll continue to host Ringtail and provide the same e-discovery consulting and services (including managed review and research) around Ringtail hosting.
Q: We license Ringtail on-premise or Ringtail SaaS software. How will this news impact me?
A: Nuix will now provide customer support to Ringtail on premise and Ringtail SaaS customers. Nuix will communicate with you soon on their plans and processes for support and updates. FTI Technology will continue to provide its clients with full-service and self-service hosting options for Ringtail software.
