San Francisco Business Times Names FTI Consulting’s Sophie Ross as a Leading Woman in Business
Ross Recognized for Excellence in Business Growth, Mentorship and Community Involvement
Washington, D.C., May 18, 2016 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced that Sophie Ross, Senior Managing Director in the company’s Technology segment, has been recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as one of this year’s ‘Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business’, which honors elite female executives who demonstrate the greatest impact on their businesses, communities and advocacy for women in business. Ms. Ross was previously named to the San Francisco Business Times list in 2014.

Ms. Ross serves on the FTI Technology segment Steering Group and leads both the Western Region for FTI Technology and the company’s managed review business. She has helped to establish FTI Technology’s managed review offering as the go-to service for leading law firms and corporations. She also has a leadership role in the FTI Women’s Initiative, a company-wide program to attract, retain, develop and promote highly talented female professionals. Ms. Ross speaks regularly at legal industry events and develops white papers and articles on best practices relating to e-discovery. She recently held the position as President of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco and remains on their Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the Governance Committee.
